Vision
Giving Shoes to Run & Wings to Fly
SHOES - It is through compassion, empathy, and resources that we seek to provide the basic necessities of life (food, housing, clothing, education, life skills), giving people the right footing and firm foundation needed to build a life on.
WINGS - It is only by Jesus that true transformation can happen, bringing freedom and hope for the future. We strive to bring the Gospel to the unreached in Asia and through this powerful message people can learn about the person of Jesus Christ and having a relationship with Him.
WHO WE ARE
Wings International is a Christian non-profit organization with the purpose of meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of those coming from desperate life situations.
Our focus is on the whole dynamic of reaching the community. Beginning with underprivileged children to adults and individuals in poverty circumstances- and ultimately reaching to bring restoration to the whole family unit.
As Joel 2:25 says, “to restore the years the locusts have eaten.”
WHAT WE DO
Serving children of various kids homes and orphanages, rescue centers, and poverty stricken communities throughout Asia- providing solutions such as adequate provisions of food, clothing, housing, education and training.
Prison ministry through-out Bali with visits in prison and also a Christian based halfway house teaching Biblical values and life skills.
Feeding programs in various communities to those in need.
We also seek to empower and equip local believers and leaders in their areas of ministry, to help maximize their cause.
WHERE WE DO IT
The primary focus of Wings International is the region of Asia; currently working in Burma (Myanmar), India, Nepal, and Indonesia.
The nations we work in are part of the world’s 10/40 Window, often known as the “resistance belt.” There are approximately 5.44 billion people residing in 10/40 Window, and nearly 69% of these people groups are considered unreached.
WHY WE DO IT
Matthew 28:18 is a call to action from Jesus to all believers, and how we will see revival happen in Asia!
Whether to children, youth, men and women - our aim is providing them with hope for both their present and future.
Countries we work in
Nepal’s population is an estimated 29.2 million people, and of that number 89% are considered unreached.
Children under the age of 16 make up 41% of Nepal's population. Approximately 5,000 of these children are living on the streets.
