I once heard a story about an evangelist who while on his way home on a train was able to share about the love of God and His good plan for our lives with two other passengers sitting next to him. After he finished the two passengers were so touched by the news of a love so great for them that they both believed and invited Christ into their lives. When the evangelist got home his wife asked how the journey went. The evangelist replied, "Great! On the way home I was able to lead one and a half people to Christ!" Startled at first by this comment, the wife then replied "Oh, you mean one adult and a child..." "No" said the evangelist, "The 'half' was an adult because they've already lived half their life, and the 'one' was a child because they have the rest of their life ahead of them."
The impact that touching the life of just one child has can affect countless others for decades to come, whether for good or for bad.
WHAT WE DO TODAY FOR THESE LITTLE ONES MATTERS.
